Sunset Magic on Grand Anse Beach Mocktail

Sunset Magic on Grand Anse Beach Mocktail

You’ve been on holiday to the Caribbean island of Grenada, and you’re still revelling in the experience on Grand Anse Beach, when you laid in that spot where the ocean kissed the beach and it’s still calling you, by its own natural whisperings. So let’s re-create that feeling – whether it’s basking in the high noon sun, or walking on the sunset beach, this cocktail tea will take you there again! And if you’ve not been there, don’t worry, raise a cup to your first trip, with this tea:

You’ll need:

2 x shots (60ml) of  Blue Curaçao liqueur

1 x bag of Grand Anse Sunset Beach tea

1 x teaspoon lemon juice (or juice of half a lemon)

2 x teaspoonfuls of honey or your preferred sweetener

Chopped Mint leaves

Ice cubes

Lemon slices

How to make: 1. Boil 250ml of water (1 cup) and pour into a cup. Then add the bag of Grand Anse Sunset beach tea, and steep for 3-4 minutes. 2. Crush the mint leaves and put into a transparent, glass cup. Then pour in the Blue Curaçao into the glass and the brew. 3. Notice this aquamarine-like ocean, when the Blue Curaçao is added to the mixture in the cup, as it beacons you. 4. Why not add crushed ice. Then you should add honey or your sweetener to the mixture. (Don’t add honey to hot liquid, it changes the enzymes, reduces its benefits, and becomes toxic). 5. Add the lemon juice and decorate with lemon slices. 6. Finally, enjoy the magical taste of sunset on the beach; any time, any day, any season! Cheers! How was it for you? Send us your comments.
